Emirates Airlines is a luxurious and the busiest international airline based in Dubai

The first and foremost introduction of Emirates Airlines is that it is a huge structured airline with all luxurious comforts. It has its presence on almost all the important routes around the world. The airline has further expansion plans as well by adding more landing places in its network. The slogan of Emirates Airline ‘Fly Emirates, Keep discovering’ elaborates the airline’s policy that it offers its customers its help to discover the world with very comfortable and secured journey. The airline appeared on the horizon as a passenger airline in 1985. The main center of the airline for its flight operations is Dubai International Airport. The most outstanding business group of the United Arab Emirates called ‘Emirates Group’ owns Emirates Airlines as its parent company. Some western investment companies also have shares of the airlines. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum is the Chairman of Emirates Airlines. 

Emirates Airlines has a big fleet of planes that are thought to be the most luxurious planes of the world having the most modern and outstanding facilities. The total number of the planes in the fleet of Emirates Airlines is 110. The airline wants to add 226 more planes to it fleet as it has placed orders for these planes already. This shows the enormous progress made by the airline and the confidence of the people on the airline as their favourite choice. Emirates Airlines is also engaged in providing cargo services for various international airports of the world. At present, Emirates has 336 cargo aircrafts in its fleet. The strength of its cargo fleet enables the airline to transport cargo to an extensive circle of destinations across the world. The airline uses a special logo name for its cargo flights i.e. ‘Emirates SkyCargo’.  With regard to it passenger flights, the airline reaches at 90 destinations worldwide. It lands in 60 countries and regions of the world. Emirates Airlines is the number one airline company of the United States of Arab Emirates. The airline operates almost 2,350 flights a week which is a maximum occupation on the part of any international airline. The fleet of the airline includes many types of planes. The most prominent are Airbus A330-200, Airbus A340-300, Airbus A340-500, Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-200ER and Boeing 777-300ER.

Emirates Airlines has devised some strategic plans to be implemented in the next few years as its business policy. The airline has great ambitions with regard to its proposed business plan. The airline hopes to increase its annual sales to 70% up to the year 2010. Special measures have been taken by the Emirates’ authorities in this regard. As an airline, Emirates Airlines has many distinctions on its credit. Among the Asian airlines, it is on the top due to its fleet, professional occupation and huge annual profits. It stands number nine among the international airlines of the world. There is no airline company in the Middle East which can be equaled to Emirates Airlines. It lands on all the important airports in the neighboring countries of the United States of Emirates.
